grow like Crooked Birch
amongst the wildflowers and grasshopper

Moose their muse
they eat hearty bowls
of chowder and baked potatoes

Dancing deer
cross roads
and desire
for a speeding zodiac
that will afford them a clearer view
of seal, whale, and pluvver
drawing them closer
to bald eagle
high above
